Inner peace is mainly about dedicating some of your time to yourself in order to regain control over your life, and reflect on things that are going on in your life.  Yoga is also one of the best ways to calm a busy mind. You will soon start to think more rationally and enjoy your life more than ever before. Inner peace will provide you with hope, calmness and a sense of well-being that will help you get through anything. You can now benefit froma small holiday at any time of day with yoga and meditation.

Improved self-awareness. The mind is constantly swinging from the past to the future and never staying in the present. Yoga can help us acquire a balanced state of awareness that will give you accuracy and sharpness of mind, peacefulness as well as joy. It contributes to creating that awareness and brings the mind to the present moment, where it will remain happy and focused

Increased energy. Do you feel completely drained by the end of the day? You aren’t the only one. Moving along from one task to another throughout the day can be quite exhausting. A few minutes of meditation everyday represent a highly effective solution for increased energy, leaving you refreshed and recharged after a hectic day.Meditation presents a safe and careful stimulus to the brain leaving you full of energy.

Meditation brings harmony to your home. When you meditate, you will become calm and joyful and this is what you will emit into the environment.

There are quite a few yoga studios throughout the area. All of them aim to connect the mind and body through careful breathing and movement. Here are a few websites to some of these yoga studios:

As you can see, yoga and meditation have several benefits for people that can extend even to your working or home environment, but have you heard of the new movement called “doga”? It is yoga that you and your dog can do together; it combines meditation, gentle stretching and massage for you and dogs alike.

Doga starts with a few play bows, tail tips wiggling overhead and allows you to strengthen your bond with your furry friend by creating a harmonious energy flow. It also decreases anxiety and relieves stress in both you and your dog.Image title

Dogs doing yoga may seem a little curious, but our four legged friends actually do common yoga poses in their everyday life. Not only will doga help cool off and calm your pet, but it can also help in digestion and decrease their blood pressure. No matter the size of your pet they can all participate to doga; large dogs aid as a yoga bolster while small dogs aid as a weight.

And last but not least, one of the most important things you will gain by exercising with your pet is the quality time you spend with him. Doga is an hour of undivided attention!

If you want you can attend special yoga centers or group classes alone or accompanied by your canine friend led by trained instructors or you can practice meditation on your own; however it suits your lifestyle.
